Henningsvær, the most picturesque fishing village in Lofoten, consists of several small islands that are connected by bridges like pearls on a string.

Skata Boutique Hotel resides on the little island Sauøya, right outside the main island, providing a quiet haven even in the busy seasons, when Henningsvær swarms with visitors from all over the world.

When travelling by plane from Trondheim (TRD), Bergen (BGO) or Oslo (OSL), you will have to fly to Lofoten via Bodø (BOO). From there, the closest airport located 25km away from our hotel is in Svolvær (SVJ). Alternatively, another airport to consider, would be 185km in distance, approximately 3 hours scenic drive, from Harstad/Narvik airport in Evenes.

The easiest way to reach us and move around Lofoten is by a private car. All the big car rental companies can be found at the mentioned airports and Svolvær city centrum.
