Come and enjoy genuine culinary craftsmanship by Siv-Hilde & Geir from Lofotmat – two passionate food creators who have brought joy to tables all over Lofoten.
This year, they visit SKATA Hotel to create a Christmas buffet filled with love for local ingredients, traditions, and authentic taste.

The Christmas dishes are a tribute to Lofoten’s culinary heritage – with all the Northern favorites’, yet perhaps the Swedish host and his wife might sneak in a few surprises among the delicacies.

Dinner is served in the hotel’s rustic dining hall with candlelight, a warm fire in the hearth, the sea gently lapping beneath the pier, and snow-covered mountains in the background.

After dinner, enjoy a calm evening with soft music, something delightful in your glass, and maybe the northern lights dancing above Henningsvær.
Wake up to a peaceful morning, breakfast by the sea, and the feeling that the spirit of Christmas truly lives here.

We also set up a cozy “Taste of Lofoten” evening the night before Christmas buffet, 28 November and 12 December, where Siv-Hilde creates small seasonal bites full of flavour, and Geir pairs them with something good in the glass.
